Wan Wing Lam draws from the three formative years in Hong Kong prior to her move to Singapore. Those experiences of culture and public life shape her sense of collective agency, her relationship to authority and her views of an individual’s relationship to state and city. Collaborate with her Chinese nation and created an art work that blends different cultures.

5 lights on the light track to create a very nice shadow of the red flower dress and white dress, there are three shadows on the floor to create an illusory, and the two shadows from the red dress on the wall can make sure viewers can see the shadow at any position.

Burnt flower paper. Need to fold the paper and roll it, tied it on a wooden stick (for my safety) then burnt it.
Rolled the paper and burnt the front part.
Paste white flower on both side. These are the same flower as the red one.
